There are many wedding trends, but fall wedding trends incorporate different styles and colors. Here is a preview of 2021 fall wedding trends.

Fall is a special time of year for any big occasion—especially weddings. Leaves change color and fall from the trees, the temperature grows colder, and the daylight gets shorter. Fall plays an integral role in the environment, so any bride looking to finalize a wedding during this season must consider some aspects.

There are many wedding trends each year, but fall wedding trends are different because they incorporate different styles and colors. For a bride sorting out her wedding details in the fall, it’s essential to focus on everything from the wedding dress to the reception drinks. Figuring out what fall-appropriate information will go into the bride’s wedding day will make everything less stressful. Here is a preview of fall wedding trends, and for those planning an autumn wedding in London, don’t forget to consider a classic wedding car for hire in London to add a touch of vintage charm to your special day.

Bold Colors: A Big Fall Wedding Trend

When it comes to a fall wedding, color is everything. The rich colors of nature and the beautiful sceneries make fall the perfect time to host a wedding. The bride can focus on bold colors, from earthy hues to rich jewel tones.

The best colors for a fall wedding include deep burgundy, rich green, orange, pastel peach, mauve, emerald, plum, and maroon. Brides can use these bold colors for bridesmaid dresses, wedding decor, floral arrangements, or even her wedding dress if she’s feeling brave enough. If dresses are off-bounds, the colors can still appear in the floral arrangements and the decor for that extra pop of color coordination.

Weather-Friendly Dresses for a Fall Wedding

The most essential part of any wedding is finding the perfect dress for the bride to wear. Finding a dress during fall can be even more challenging because the weather is usually unpredictable. Because the season is transitioning into winter, it’s a lot cooler, and there can be a lot of rain and wind.

However, it doesn’t always have to be difficult to find a dress for fall. There are many wedding dresses out there that suit the season perfectly. Backless dresses are trendy, as they are much lighter, but you can opt for sleeves to stay extra warm if it is too cold.

Wedding capes are also in right now, as they cover the shoulders and back to give an added layer of style. Wedding dresses featuring large bows are also trending right now, as they are unique and match well with fall. There is a unique style for everyone’s preference.

Cozy Decor for a Fall Wedding

Fall weddings often have vastly different decor than weddings in other seasons. This is usually because the environment and weather change drastically, and there’s more obligation to make the decor and space much cozier.

For the reception, it’s important to make the space as warm and cozy as possible. The bride can use couches and pillows to warm up the space. Another beautiful feature of fall wedding decor is tents and fairy lights, which match the mood with a romantic and airy ambiance.

To make it easier to design the reception, consider it “living room style” decor but more elegant. Make an inviting atmosphere for guests to relax during the reception by adding cozy throws and plush pillows with comfortable chairs and lounge seating. Utilize candles to warm up the space further.

Warm Drinks

For food and drinks, the warmer, the better. Having warm beverages will make sure that everyone stays cozy and relaxed.  Fall wedding cocktails can consist of fruit, like apples, figs, pears, pumpkin, cranberry, and raspberry. Mixing these with warm liqueurs like bourbon, spiced cider, and mulled wine will warm everyone up.

Some popular and warm fall cocktails are bourbon spiced cider, caramel apple hot toddy, caramel pear cider, pumpkin spice white Russian, and spiced raspberry mulled wine. Some other suggestions that are perfect for the kids are hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and warm juice.
