Top Destination #1: Dubai

Dubai is probably one of those locations which will remain on the list for the foreseeable future… What’s not to love about Dubai? With its vibrant and busy Expo City that’ll help you appreciate and celebrate cultures from all over the world to bring ‘shop till you drop’ to life, the second-largest mall in the world will most likely have everything that your heart desires. And if you want to take a break while shopping in the 1200 retail stores, it offers, why not visit the aquarium or the underwater zoo within the mall itself?

Dubai is also a hot destination for gold, with an entire market dedicated to that. The Gold Souk is one of Dubai’s oldest markets, and the intricate and finely crafted jewelry pieces leave you spoiled for choice!

Or, maybe you want to spend most of your time outdoors and not in a mall… In that case, Jumeirah Beach is simply waiting for you! From snorkeling to cycling around the beach and walking along the Dubai skyline during sunset… you can pick your activity!

Top Destination #2: Canada

The second destination we recommend visiting this year is Canada—and not just one city! If you want to get a feel of Europe without actually being in Europe, Montreal has to be one of the most authentic places to get that French feel. Mont-Royal Park looks like something out of a fairytale store, with incredible woodlands, a lake, and even a sculpture garden!

And, of course, you can’t go to Canada without trying the iconic poutine! We’re convinced the poutine alone will encourage you to come back and visit again. Did you know poutine bars at weddings were a thing? Neither did we…

If you’re looking for a city break, we recommend Ottawa. It might seem like an obvious choice, being the capital city, but it is a location with some of the richest and most majestic architecture in the world. With the iconic Parliament Hill and museums to fill in the gaps in your knowledge, you’ll return knowing about Canada and its history! And you can do all that while also stopping by one of the oldest farmer’s markets in the world!

Top Destination #3: Germany

If you can’t make your travel work for the summer, we recommend one of our favorite wintery locations—Christmastime in Germany! And if you’re tired from your excursions in Dresden, it might be a good idea to stop by Baden-Baden, the famous spa town known across Europe! We can’t think of anything more relaxing than spending hours at the thermal springs (it might be a bit hard to leave) and stopping by the salt caves for possibly the best nap you’ll ever have. The health benefits and properties span thousands of years, and the salt caves are a beautiful experience that is a must-see for everyone at least once in their lifetime!

Top Destination #4: Athens

Another remarkable historical hotspot, you’d be surprised at how much Ancient Athens can pack into one place. Athens is Europe’s oldest capital—so don’t be fooled by its size! A destination that’s always been a hotspot, there’s no time like the present to visit Athens, Greece.
