A rosé wine makes the perfect summer wine. We reviewed the Delicious Pink from Mommy’s Time Out and discovered a fun wine that’s perfect for mom’s day out. 

Being a mom is hard work, so every mom deserves a break. That’s the philosophy behind Mommy’s Time Out wines. The small wine producer has four varieties of wines, including Mommy’s Time Out Vino Rosato-Delicious Pink, an Italian rosé blend of Merlot and Raboso grapes from Italy that is ideal for summer sipping.

I found Delicious Pink to be a fun wine. Not something I’d want to drink with a gourmet meal, but something enjoyable to sip with friends on a hot summer day or at night under the summer stars. The blend is crisp and fruity, best when served quite cold. It left me with a nice, soft taste in my mouth, nothing harsh. It has just the right blend of fruity, actually making it a bit of a delicate wine.

Good rosé wines, popular in Europe during the summer months, are only recently becoming widely available in the US—and it’s about time! I love a good rosé on a hot summer day—it’s such a treat. Delicious Pink is available in markets nationwide and in many online wine shops.
