On a recent visit to Cabo San Lucas and a memorable stay at The Towers at Pacifica, I found out that dreams can come true. You can be on vacation forever and never have to leave your favorite resort if you buy a luxury resort home at Quivira Los Cabos. At Quivira, the impeccable service and natural beauty of the desert, mountains and ocean of Los Cabos are waiting.

People are investing in the Los Cabos area… Americans, Canadians, mainland Mexicans and Europeans. And they are looking for more than a place to hang their sombreros. They are looking for world-class golf, fine dining and resort living.

Others know a good deal when they see one and are investing with a plan to rent the homes to vacationers. And, of course, you can do a combination of the two.

Quivira Los Cabos has the Answer

I was able to visit two areas where people are investing. The Copala development is a gated community offering condos in seven towers and 86 stand-alone homes. Some of these are completed and fully landscaped.

I visited the beautiful 38,000 square foot clubhouse. It has a community pool, hot tub and air-conditioned clubhouse with a catering kitchen. Party anyone? There is also a fitness center and business center with concierge services. The shaded lounge areas with upscale patio furniture were tempting me to stay and relax. But I had more to see on my tour of beautiful homes.

Next, the developers are working on the Coronado development with 68 single-level hacienda-style homes.

Coronado is being built overlooking three holes of the Quivira Golf Club and will have 180-degree ocean views. Tempting floor plans are available now.

I also visited the Private Residences at Montecristo. These established homes feature private infinity pools and stunning mountainside views of the ocean. They were beautifully furnished with high-end appliances. Owners have a private clubhouse with pool and restaurant. These lovely homes can also be rented.

I had breakfast at La Cibola there and enjoyed choices such as fresh fruit yoghurt and chilaquiles (loved the fresh avocado), all served with attention to detail.

Owners also have personalized concierge service and resort transportation. The beach is a few minutes down the hill along with the ocean-side pools and restaurants at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Of course they play golf at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Quivira Golf Club. These three and four bedroom Tuscan-inspired homes were built in 2013. I was impressed with the detailing of the homes, the high-end granite countertops, use of tile, beautiful wood floors and wrought iron. The Quivira homes are constructed to the highest standards.

Whether you are vacationing or looking to invest in a home, Quivira has much to offer. Quivira Los Cabos is a 1,850-acre master-planned community that includes the luxury resorts, restaurants, spas, villas, beach club, residences and condos and, of course, the Quivira Golf Club with its 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course, club house and stunning ocean views.

For me, the thought of buying a home in another country, with different laws, currency and taxes would be daunting. The Quivira developers provide direct financing with an innovative long-term payment plan. After talking with the real estate staff at Quivira, I came away with the feeling that they have thought through everything making the real estate purchase process both smooth and customized to the buyers’ needs.
