Mid-Century Glam in the Heart of Hollywood
A true coffee shop in every way from the extensive counter to the private semi-circle booths, 101 Coffee Shop is the cornerstone of the Best Western Hollywood Hills and is known for its retro mid-century flare. Lovingly restored with requisite Naugahyde and exposed stone walls, the only thing missing here are the surly waitresses with their aqua-colored uniforms.

Breakfast Favorites on Select Days
Instead, tatted, hip servers in t-shirts and jeans pour your coffee and sling your hash…and, yes, both corned beef and a smoked salmon hash is on the menu. Most famous, though, is probably the Rush Hour Special, a perfect combo of sweet and savory with a couple of eggs, bacon or sausage, and either French toast or three Silver Dollar pancakes. It will set you back $9.50 and is only available Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 10 am.
On weekends only, you can grab the eggs Benedict or Florentine. This one is served with hash browns on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 4 pm for $14.75.
A Vegetarian Los Angeles Breakfast Option
Being LA, you would also expect to find some non-traditional options. 101 Coffee Shop doesn’t disappoint. The “No Huevos” Rancheros is made with tofu instead of eggs. It comes with black beans, corn, soyrizo, ranchero sauce, and guacamole for $11.95.

Breakfast in Los Angeles
