No matter how picturesque, one of America’s northernmost states can get pretty cold in the winter season, so you should equip your camper with an RV air heater. It will keep you warm at night so you can get some sleep and wake up in time to see nature’s light show—Aurora Borealis.
Campervan Road Trip to Death Valley National ParkÂ
You will experience spectacular views when camping in Death Valley National Park in Nevada and California. Don’t let its name scare you off—it’s one of the most popular spots for campers throughout the year. Since it’s a desert, it can get scorching hot during the summer and cold and snowy throughout the winter. Death Valley ironically brings life to various desert wildflowers through spring, making the park look even more beautiful.
