In the evenings from May 27- July 4, 2016, Resort guests and locals alike can enjoy The Westin Kierland’s one-of-a-kind PaintScaping, in which themed 3D images and animations are projected across the Resort’s 11-story main building and set to music. The art of “PaintScaping,” derived from ‘painting the landscape,’ merges a virtual world with the existing world by projecting 3-dimensional digital mapping onto buildings that act as the canvas for characters, colors, and objects as living and moving parts of the façade. This summer the PaintScaping show will feature all-American imagery paired with patriotic music. Held at 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. nightly, the show is free and open to the public.
