I am a sucker for soft, luxurious cotton and the Egyptian cotton white waffle spa robe I received from Luxor Linens is a delight. The robe, which is made in Turkey, is incredibly soft. I don’t typically use robes, but I have enjoyed this one.

The Giovanni Signature Waffle Spa Robe, which the company sent me to review, is perfect for hot summer days. The material is lightweight and breathable. In fact, I found it lightweight enough to pack in my suitcase. I can’t be at the spa every day, but when I put on the robe, I feel pampered in my own house.

The 100% Egyptian cotton in this waffle spa robe, which is only available in white, is soft and machine washable. I put it in my regular wash then tossed it into a cool dryer for about 15 minutes. It came out of the wash looking like new.

Luxor Linens does have several other robes made of heavier materials, including bamboo and terry cloth. The bamboo robes are available in four colors and you can add a monogram in one of 15 colors.

The Fit

The waffle spa robe that I tested is designed as a one-size-fits-most garment. According to the website specifications, the robe is 53″ long with 13″ sleeves. I’m only 5’2″ tall with short arms and the robe fits me as a full length with long sleeves. My husband, who is 6’2″ tall with long arms, tried on the robe and it was a little snug on him, but would easily fit an average sized 6-foot man.

The Extras

The robes, which retail for $199, include a free monogram (your initials or words such as MOM, DAD, MR., MRS., HIS or HERS) in your choice of burgundy, black or gold lettering. The soft white robe, with my initial on the left breast, came beautifully packaged in a box, making this a perfect gift for your special someone (or yourself). Matching slippers are also available for $14.99.
