Each September, Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas buzzes with excitement. It's the kind of energy that comes when you hear the roar of a Maserati or watch the sleek lines of a Porsche whisk past. September 28, 2019 is time for the annual Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase. I had a chance to attend last year's event and it was a day filled with amazing cars, great food and cocktails, a fashion show and fun for the entire family. Check your engines…and your calendars…for this great annual event in Irving, Texas.

About the Luxury & Supercar Showcase
The show takes place at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. It is set up on the 1st and 18th Fairways of the Tournament Players Golf Course. Show field tickets, which are general admission, are $25 each. This gives you access to the cars on display, live music on the Lexus stage, and the kids zone.
I recommend the $100 VIP ticket. You can see all the cars plus enjoy:
- Celebrity Cruises Captain's Lounge
- Highland Park Village Fashion Show
- Mercedes-Benz Beer Garden
- Luxury retail pop-up shops in the Porsche Pavilion
- Admission to the Allie-Beth Allman & Associates | URBAN VIP Lounge
- Complimentary culinary and drink experiences from area restaurants
- Two tickets for complimentary drinks, wine, and beer
You can find all of the ticket options online.
Experience Luxury Cars
The Luxury & Supercar Showcase is a great way to see some of the world's most luxurious and high performance vehicles, both classic and new. After all, isn't it time to start making your shopping list for the holidays?
The showcase event of the day is The Collectors' Concourse. Check out more than 150 vehicles, including rare supercars, vintage race cars, and classic cars.

The Park Place New Car Concourse gives you a chance to look at new luxury automotive brands courtesy of Park Place Dealerships. I checked out my personal favorite, a Maserati. Someday I will get behind the wheel of one, even if only for a few minutes. There are also cars on display from Bentley, McLaren, Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, and more.

The Car Club Expo features 200 of the best entries from regional car clubs. There are cars brought in by The Corvette Legends of Texas, Ferrari Club Dallas, and The Texas Shelby Club.

Haute Fashion at Luxury & Supercar Showcase
What blends better with luxury cars than haute couture? One of my favorite events of the Luxury & Supercar Showcase was the Highland Park Village Fashion Show.

This great runway show, produced by Jan Strimple Productions and held in the Porsche Pavilion, highlights fashions from stores at Highland Park Village.

The fashion show featured great styles from stores including Trina Turk, Alice + Olive, Theory, and St. John. The fashion show takes place inside the Porsche Pavilion at 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

After the models showed off their fashions on the Million Air Stage, it became the setting for the Haute Hat Contest. There are categories for men and women. I was wowed by the hat fashions. The audience is invited to participate in the fun contest.

Food and Drink at Luxury & Supercar Showcase
There are food and beverage trucks set up during the event, where you can purchase an assortment of meals and snacks. However, with VIP admission, you can check out the Allie-Beth Allman & Associates | URBAN VIP Lounge. The Porsche Pavilion, where you'll find the lounge, sizzles with complimentary bites and drinks from area restaurants.
DFW-area eateries include Cork & Pig, Cool River, Kāi, Dallas Fish Market, CRÚ Food & Wine Bar, Mexican Sugar, Texas de Brazil, and more.
Celebrity Cruises Captain's Lounge
The Captain's Lounge features luxury pop-up shops from Bachendorf's, Jack Black, and more. There is also additional entertainment in the Captain's Lounge.
Family Fun at Luxury & Supercar Showcase
There is something for everyone during the Luxury & Supercar Showcase. All day on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there's live entertainment on the Lexus Live Stage. From the Dallas String Quartet to the Azteca Sol Mariachi, you'll keep your feet tapping.
There is also a great spot for the little ones to get a jumpstart on loving those luxury cars. Head to the Kids Zone for some great thrills. From a huge Hot Wheels exhibit and a car built out of LEGOs. There's also a chance for the youngest visitors to jump behind the wheel, at least in a mini toy car.

If You Go to the Luxury & Supercar Showcase
One of the best tips for attending the Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase is to download the app onto your phone. I found this really useful throughout the day. It updates you with the list of restaurant, the entertainment, and the schedule. It also has information on every vehicle you can see.

The show is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain or shine) on Saturday, September 28, 2019. It is held at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas, 4400 N. MacArthur Blvd., in Irving, Texas. Valet parking is $30 at the Champion's Way entry. Self-parking is $15 at nearby North Lake College for $15.
Recommended dress for the day is what event sponsor Highland Park Village calls “Concours Casual.” Chic, but comfortable. Accessories can rock your outfit for the day, but be sure to wear great walking shoes. Much of the event is outside, so stylish sneakers are perfect. And don't forget your hat. I had the most amazing blue fascinator from Scala.
