If you’re traveling around the Old World—and more specifically Spain—there are some places you wouldn’t want to miss. In this article, you will find the most beautiful beaches in the world, along with more remarkable landscapes.
The thing is everybody knows the typical places, right? Barcelona and Madrid seem to be the only answers you get when you ask someone what part of Spain they visited.
We will introduce you to some places you probably haven’t heard about, but you will be thrilled to see. And all of them have that portion of luxury we always look for. If you’re planning a trip to Spain, be sure to add these destinations to your list of places to visit in Spain.
You don’t necessarily have to be a fan of one particular type of vacations. It doesn’t matter if you are a mountain or beach kind of person, this southwestern-Europe country has a lot more to offer than just those two places.
Visit Finisterre in Spain
This beautiful part of the country—Finisterre—means “end of the earth.” That’s because this incredible city is surrounded by water. What’s so special about this place? If you mean what’s so special besides incredible sights and almost perfect landscapes?
Well, for instance, there is a unique variety of beaches. If you want to chill and relax with your family, you may head to Playa del Talón which has quiet and calm waters.
But if you are into surfing or other types of water sports, the best option for you is Playa del Mar de Forá. This beach is known for its fierce water, and it’s not recommended for families with little kids, but it’s perfect if you’re adventure-traveling with friends.
While you are there, you will want to try some fresh seafood at O’centolo. But be sure your wallet is full because this excellent restaurant is known for having pricey meals.
Visit Albarracín in Spain
If you’re more into hiking or biking, you are going to love Albarracín—a lot. Albarracín is placed about 3,878 feet (1,182 meters) up in the mountains, and it’s a small city that hosts only about a thousand people.
Apart from being a very small city which implies that it’s quiet and relaxing, it also has an incredible history. The old town is surrounded by a giant wall that’s more than a thousand years old.
Look at the picture. No, it’s not the Great Wall of China. It’s the Cool and Trendy Albarracín Wall. Well, it is not actually named like that, but we think it should be.
When you’re climbing up those beautiful hills, you might want to try out some jamón (ham). Albarracín is known for making the tastiest, but pricy, jamón of the world.
Visiting Mallorca in Spain
If you are visiting Mallorca, then you are in for the ideal and perfect paradisiac beach experience. Nothing beats bathing in crystal clear waters in the day and then hitting the dance floor at night.
This is the right place for vacations with friends. Mallorca has one of the most incredible dance clubs on the entire planet, so you might want to gather 15 of your wildest acquaintances and get yourself an incredible luxury home while you’re visiting.
You can finish your beaches and clubs tour in the Cathedral de Santa María de Mallorca—just in case you need to ask for forgiveness.
When You Visit Spain
