March is an ideal time for foodies to travel to Portland. Portland Dining Month, a Travel Portland initiative for the past ten years, returns to the Rose City this March with more than 130 local restaurants serving up three-course dinners for just $33, every night of the week.
With more restaurants participating this year than ever before, Portland Dining Month grows bigger and more flavorful each year. The month-long tribute to the city’s innovative culinary scene allows foodies to experience delicious meals, prepared by ground-breaking and award-winning chefs, at an affordable cost.
Each participating restaurant offers a unique three-course prix fixe dinner menu. The expansive 2019 roster includes something for every taste and preference, with ample local favorites as well as relative newbies to the Portland dining scene, such as Arden Wine Bar + Kitchen, Bullard, Delores, Kachinka, ok omens, and Rosa Rosa. A full list of participating Portland Dining Month restaurants and their menus can be found at PortlandDiningMonth.com.
“Portland Dining Month is a beloved tradition that grows stronger each year as Portland’s culinary scene continues to evolve and innovate, and the accessibility of fabulous menus at affordable prices allows locals and visitors alike to experience the sheer diversity of our restaurant scene,” said Jeff Miller, Travel Portland president and CEO. “It’s a wonderful celebration of the people and passions that have put Portland on the culinary map.”
Making a reservation for Portland Dining Month can also benefit the local community. Travel Portland has partnered with OpenTable again this year; a donation will be made to Oregon Food Bank’s hunger-relief efforts for every reservation booked at participating restaurants through PortlandDiningMonth.com.
