Restaurant chefs are not the only ones making the cut for Food Network’s Chopped!
Tempe based Santa Barbara Catering will be represented this season on Food Network’s Chopped by Executive Sous Chef, Marissa Delgado.
The episode premiers on Food Network on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 8pm MST.
Delgado has been a chef at Santa Barbara Catering for seven years. Her spunky attitude and creative culinary skills were a perfect fit for her on-screen debut. Delgado is known for her molecular gastronomy and pastry experience, but with her catering background, her culinary knowledge is endless..
“Being able to represent not only Arizona, but also the catering industry on national television was an experience that I am extremely proud of. My culinary depth as a catering chef helped to prepare me for this fast paced challenge. Also, having executed so many different custom menus for our clients, I was able to quickly plan a creative strategy during the competition. ” said Delgado.
Viewers will have to tune into Food Network’s Chopped on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 8pm MST to find out which ingredients Delgado was challenged with and the results of the competition.
