Located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, the award-winning Scottsdale resort is taking Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations to new heights with elegant cuisine, jovial dancing and tons of holiday spirit, ensuring guests and locals feel right at home for the holidays.
For Christmas Day dinner, Sanctuary’s acclaimed elements restaurant will feature breathtaking views of Paradise Valley as well as an unforgettable four-course dinner by executive chef and Food Network Star Beau MacMillan. Served from 12 to 8 p.m. at $105 per person, plus tax and gratuity, menu highlights will include escargot potpie with spinach, garlic confit, and cremini mushrooms; roasted California squab with foie gras risotto, caramelized Asian pear, pickled beech mushrooms and black pepper caramel sauce; crab stuffed petrale sole with haricot vert, pomme frittes and sauce meuniere; prime New York strip with salsify puree, king trumpet mushrooms, balsamic onions and bone marrow marmalade; and roasted vegetable wellington with gruyere cheese, asparagus, roasted mushrooms, spinach, squash and red pepper coulis. Dessert selections will include cranberry apple gallette with almond frangipane, cardamom crème anglaise and rosemary gelato; and jivara milk chocolate mousse with peppermint whipped ganache, shortbread crumble and crystallized mint. Children ages 6-12 dine for $25; ages 5 and under dine free.
New Year’s Eve
Guests can toast 2017 one last time with a sophisticated sit-down affair at elements or ring in the New Year with music and dancing at jade bar. Presenting an inspired four-course menu by Chef MacMillan, elements will offer two seating times. The first seating takes place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and is priced at $150 per person. The second seating, which includes a complimentary Champagne toast, party favors and admission to the jade bar celebration takes place from 8 to 10:30 p.m. and is priced at $185 per person. Meanwhile at jade bar, the New Year’s Eve bash begins at 8 p.m. and goes on till 1 a.m., complete with a dancefloor and live music by DJ Hybrid that is sure to pack the dance floor. Priced at $1,000 for a table of four and $1,500 for a table of six, the Dinner Package includes a four-course prix fixe holiday menu, bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne and party favors. Tax and gratuity are additional, and space is limited.
