They offer delicious and gourmet healthy catering from the onsite Canyon Breeze Restaurant.

The Resort can arrange vow renewals and elopement services as well. Ayni Despacho Ceremony

An ayni despacho ceremony is one of Red Mountain Resort’s more unique offerings and a great complement to any wedding, elopement or vow renewal package. Traditionally performed by shamans of the Andean mountain regions to honor and give thanks to Mother Earth, this ancient ceremony also offers prayers for healing and transformation. It is a lovely way to honor the lives the couple has lived up to that point and support their preparation to begin a new chapter of life together.

Red Mountain’s very own “Modern Medicine Woman”, Brittney Marie, is trained in the healing arts of Shamanic Energy Medicine, Chinese Stone and Crystal Medicine, sacred geometry and sonic alchemy. She has journeyed to the sacred sites and mountains of Peru and received the rites and initiations of the Q’ero lineage. Blending energies of the natural elements of the earth and within the individual, her work is intended to empower people to transform what is present into its highest expression.

The ayni despacho is a ceremony to bring all the layers of one’s life into “right” relationship. Using natural and burnable materials, participants work in the space of the mythic to create a beautiful, mandala-like prayer bundle. Each symbolic element placed into the despacho is imbued with one’s individual and collective prayers for harmony, balance and love. When the despacho is complete, participants receive the gift of an energetic cleansing so they can release all that no longer serves them. In ceremony, the completed despacho is offered to the fire for rapid transformation and fulfillment of one’s prayers. The fire is a beautiful opportunity to release attachment and open oneself up to the most expansive blossoming of life. A despacho ceremony can be done with individuals, couples or in a group setting.
