Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is amping up the elegance this season while taking the hassle out of holiday celebrations, inviting guests to savor a sophisticated restaurant feast or host their own celebration in one of the luxury resort’s private homes – beautifully decked in festive trimmings. Throughout the holiday season, the luxury resort’s Home for the Holidays package provides accommodations in a spectacular mountainside estate, with ample room for stress-free entertaining of family and friends. The package includes a $250 dining or spa credit and a welcome basket and is available Nov. 20, 2016 – Jan. 8, 2017. Rates start at $2,150 per night, based on a two-night minimum.

Whether they stay in a private estate or one of the resort’s stylish suites or casitas, Sanctuary guests – and local residents – are encouraged to reserve well in advance to secure a sought-after seat at the table for one of executive chef and Food Network star Beau MacMillan’s legendary holiday feasts. Also on target for another sold-out event is the resort’s annual New Year’s Eve bash at jade bar.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day, guests can choose between a four-course, prix-fixe menu at elements, Sanctuary’s signature restaurant, or a lavish buffet at The Views. Dinner at elements will include an elegant turkey dinner with all the trimmings among the entrée choices, along with non-traditional offerings such as bacon-wrapped filet of beef with blue cheese crust; pan-seared John Dory with a braised leek, corn and mussel chowder; and roasted vegetable tian with goat cheese fondue. Available from 12 to 9 p.m., the elements dinner is priced at $85 per person. Featuring action and carving stations, the Thanksgiving buffet at The Views will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is priced at $75 per person. For both meals, children ages 6-12 dine for $25, ages 5 years and under dine free. Drinks, tax and gratuity are additional.

Christmas

Wrapped in glass to maximize the breathtaking views of Paradise Valley below, elements will also serve as an unforgettable setting for Christmas Day dinner. A festive four-course, prix fixe menu will be offered at $90 per person, plus tax and gratuity, from 12 to 9 p.m. Children ages 6-12 dine for $29; ages 5 and under dine free. New Year’s Eve

Guests can ring in 2017 with a sophisticated sit-down affair at elements or join in Scottsdale’s biggest New Year’s Eve bash at jade bar. There will be two seatings at elements, both featuring an inspired four-course menu by Chef MacMillan. The earlier seating, 5:30 – 7 p.m. is priced at $150 per person, while the later, from 8-10:30 p.m., is priced at $185 and includes a complimentary Champagne toast, party favors and admission to the jade bar celebration.

Meanwhile at jade bar, the party begins at 8 p.m. and goes on till 1 a.m., complete with a DJ spinning hits designed to pack the dance floor. Priced at $1,000 for a table of four and $1,500 for a table of six, the Dining and Entertainment Package includes a four-course prix fixe holiday menu, bottle of Champagne and party favors. Tax and gratuity are additional, and space is limited.
