In the height of the season, Arizona resort prices are sometimes in the mid-triple-digits. But, when the temps hit the triple digits, those rates for luxury accommodations drop. It's a perfect chance to enjoy a luxury escape without breaking the bank. I continue my roundup of my favorite Arizona staycations today with FireSky Resort & Spa in Old Town Scottsdale.

Be sure to check out all of my choices for great Arizona staycations here.

FireSky Resort & Spa, Scottsdale

I stayed at FireSky Resort & Spa in Old Town Scottsdale on my birthday in early June. It has always been one of my favorite spots because the boutique hotel feels a little bit like an oasis just steps from everything in Old Town. And that hasn't changed a bit. I really enjoyed my evening and I'd like to extend an offer to all of my readers. EXCLUSIVE for WanderWithWonder.com readers, you can get an extra 25% off the flexible leisure rates by clicking on this link and booking before August 31, 2016 for a stay through December 2016.

I enjoy the vibe at FireSky, where you can enjoy fireside s’mores, coffee and tea in the resort living room each morning, and seasonal non-alcoholic beverage available throughout the day in the living room. The resort is also home to the all-natural Jurlique Spa, featuring a full-service menu of fresh and fragrant spa treatments designed to reenergize and heal from within. With five of the spa’s six treatment rooms offering copper soaking tubs, the spa specializes in water therapies and blends Eastern and Western spa philosophies.

I was booked for the Travelers Rehab, a 90-minute water therapy treatment. I had no idea what to expect and I was so pleasantly surprised. Jurlique is small, so the therapist escorted me right to my treatment room. It was a beautiful and peaceful room with a massage table and one of the beautiful soaking tubs. My bath had already been drawn and I undressed and slipped into the warm water. After 15 minutes, I was relaxed and ready for my massage.

My custom massage, which lasted 60 minutes, focused exactly on the areas that I mentioned to my therapist. She was aware of my body, my stressors, and knew exactly how to take me to that lovely spa zone that is somewhere between waking and sleeping.

Before my treatment started, my therapist explained that at the end of the treatment, there was a 15-minute snooze session. She explained that she would just slip out and let me doze. I must admit I was skeptical. I am a tab bit hyper and seldom relax. I was afraid that would be the longest 15 minutes of my life. I went off into lala-land during my massage, I was slightly aware of her leaving the room, and surprised when she came back in and quietly announced that my treatment was finished. What an amazing and relaxing treatment.

Another notable treatment includes The Royal Element, a 90-minute service that begins with a warm bath in a copper soaking tub, dead sea salt, cocoa clay and organic geranium detox followed by a pineapple-infused, full-body massage.
