Summer has officially set in at The Upton, and with it comes fresh, locally farmed flavors, crisp, light bites and an array of innovative tastes and plates sure to satisfy appetites of all sizes.  Old Town Scottsdale’s favorite locals spot salutes the summertime the best way it knows how – with a new menu courtesy of Executive Chef Chris Schlattman that capitalizes on fine, fresh ingredients and the crisp, plentiful produce of the season.

Starting Friday, June 19, Upton guests will be treated to nine new nighttime tastes, from farm-fresh starters like Green Goddess Crudité featuring mixed vegetables, romaine hearts and red bliss potatoes to dishes designed for larger appetites like Cornish Game Hen with Jamaican Jerk Seasonings, beer butt and grilled pineapple (pictured above).

“We like to mix things up around here and take advantage of what’s in season,” Schlattman said. “We take cues from our guests as to what they’d like to see featured, check out local farms to see what’s thriving and then see what we can do to put our own Upton spin on things.”
