Originally built in the early 1920s, Hotel Normandie is a boutique hotel in Los Angeles’ Koreatown. The hotel, designed by architects Walker and Eisen, who also designed The Beverly Wilshire Hotel, has been completely refurbished, the iconic neon sign once again illuminated on the roof.
Hotel Normandie features 94 rooms filled with photos by local historian/photographer Jody Miller. Phase I, which is now open, features 36 rooms, including kings, doubles and suites. Rooms have hardwood floors, art deco bathrooms, flat screen TVs, high speed internet, in-room coffee makers and art pieces. Phase II, due in 2014, will include additional roos, new restaurants, boutiques and nightlife venues. hotelnormandiela.com
