Bill Mackin stands in the corner of the small museum, chatting amiably with people eager to know more about artifacts from the Old West. A modern-day Buffalo Bill look-alike, he wears a huge cowboy hat, a kerchief tied at his throat, a pair of leather chaps over his jeans and pointed-toe cowboy boots that show the wear and tear of a beloved pair of boots. As one of today’s foremost collectors of cowboy memorabilia, Mackin has often shared parts of his collection at numerous exhibits in the United States.
