Palace Hotel Tokyo opens next to the Imperial Palace. You can book a deluxe room or splurge on the high-end suite at $8800/night. Other new hotels include Conrad New York, Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore, the luxurious new Westin Xian in China.
